Two games on Tuesday night, both on Versus and right after each other. I will catch some of the first one and mostly all of the second one. My buddy Dan will be blogging about the Sharks game on the bayarea site, so head over there at some point after the 1st period.
#1 Vancouver Canucks vs #8 Chicago Blackhawks
The Canucks are looking to beat the hawks for the first time in the three consecutive years they've played each other. The Blackhawks will be desperate to send the series back to Vancouver. Corey Crawford and the Blackhawks defense will have to play better than they have so far and expose the chinks in the Canucks' armor that was found last game.
Prediction: 4-3 Blackhawks
#2 San Jose Sharks vs #7 Los Angles Kings
The Kings absolutely dominated the Sharks and it wasn't even funny. It was quite surprising based on what I was expecting. I believe the Sharks will ready to take game 3 from the Kings, but expect it to be a grinding low-scoring game with less mistakes by the Sharks that cost them game 2. Niemi will bounce-back now that he's had a few days to rest.
Prediction: 3-1 Sharks
UPDATE 1:36PM:
Dave Bolland will return for Game 4. You may remember that he was instrumental in shutting down the Sedin twins last year in the playoffs. Brent Seabrook will not be able to play. You may remember Brent Seabrook got drilled by Raffi Torres and got knocked out of game 3 for a bit.
Jarret Stoll will be returning to the lineup after serving a one-game suspension for this.
