1. Tom Brady ABSOLUTELY RAPING the Jets D to the tune of 326 yards passing and 4 TDs- Really? Did anyone see this coming? Wait... who has two thumbs and called it? THIS GUY! I had Brady, Woodhead, Welker, and Ben-Jarvus Ellis Green starting in one of my money leagues. Brady has just gone insane as of late. He's thrown picks in only two games this season and has decided that he's going to wreck the league this year. It doesn't matter who you got, he's going to rape them. END OF STORY!
1a. Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis (72 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 1 reception, 7 yards) - Monster game on the ground against a formidable Jets defense. Keep 'em coming!
1b. Danny Woodhead (11 yards rushing, 4 receptions, 104 receiving yards) - No bigger way than to thank your former team for cutting you than lighting them up in the passing game!
1c. The rest of the Patriots receivers - for making the Jets defense look like a cakewalk!
2. Andre Johnson (6 rec, 149 yards receiving, 10 yards rushing) - Andre Johnson got thrown outta his last game, decided to come back and light up the Eagles Defense for 149 yards receiving. How? When you have Arian Foster running the ball, you're going to get one-on-one coverage. All Schaub has to do is throw it up to him and let him get it.
3. Chris Ivory (117 rushing yards, 2 rushing TDs) - This guy was backing up Thomas and Bush? Not this week! He's the starters and he absolutely tore the Bengals to shreds. Pick this guy up if you haven't already, he's going to be a stud for your fantasy playoffs!
4. Robert Meachem (3 receptions, 106 receiving yards, 1 TD) - The frustrating thing about the Saints receiving corps is that you don't know who's going to have the monster game every week. Robert Meachem finally exploded for 100 yards this season! Don't hold your breath for the rest of the season though, he only had three targets, but at least he caught everything thrown his way!
5. Greg Jennings (6 receptions, 122 receiving yards, 2 TDs) - Greg Jennings has been on fire as of late, him and Rodgers are really connecting at a key time for fantasy owners. Greg Jennings right now is running past everyone and there's no way to stop him from smoking the defense. Expect 100 yards and at least 1 td per game for the rest of the season
6. Vernon Davis (4 receptions, 126 receiving yards, 1 TD) - Finally VERNON DAVIS has broken out. He's only had one other game with 100 yards receiving. But he is going to be iffy going down the stretch. He got more than half the yards on a busted coverage play for the TD, but don't expect much more from here on out.
7. Maurice Jones-Drew (186 yards rushing, 1 reception, 4 yards receiving) - Wasn't this Titans defense supposed to be scary or something? Not to MAURICE JONES-DREW! HE ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED THEM! Maurice Jones-Drew has been a monster all season and with five straight games rushing for at least 100 yards, he's tearing it up. Give him props, he's been busting his ass since he got into the league.
8. Chris Johnson (53 yards rushing, 2 receptions, 14 yards receiving) - Really? Last time at this year, Chris Johnson was on pace to smash the NFL rushing record. With no wide receivers, okay, wide receivers that actually give a shit (*cough* *cough* Randy Moss), the threat of Vince Young running gone and Kerry Collins hobbling around, Chris Johnson is screwed!
9. The passing game in the Chiefs-Broncos game - really, no one had more than 4 receptions or 54 yards passing. Dwayne Bowe was shut down. The Broncos receivers were shut down, looks like both defenses learned something from the shootout in the previous game.
10. Knowshon Moreno (161 rushing yards, 1 reception, 14 yards receiving) - FINALLY, KNOWSHON HAS ARRIVED! He's been putting up solid numbers since the bye week, keep riding him from here on out.
11. Jamaal Charles (116 yards rushing, 2 receptions, 20 yards receiving) - Jamaal got most of the carries in what has been a see-saw season with the chiefs running back tandem. On Sunday, Charles took charge with the carries. Not to take anything from Thomas Jones, but Charles is now the number 1 back in KC.
12. Benjamin Watson (10 receptions, 100 receiving yards, 1 TD) - Best game of the season so far for Watson. In a game where the receivers were shut down, the TE Watson shined above them all. Could this continue? Maybe for the next two weeks. But he was great in New England, and can be good in Cleveland if he gets balls.
13. Adrian Peterson (107 yards rushing, 3 rushing TDs, 1 reception, 1 receiving yard) First 3 TD game for Peterson all season! Last season he got it in the first game of the season! This is also only his second 100+ yard rushing game all season, but the fantasy numbers he put up were awesome!
14. Sidney Rice (5 receptions, 105 yards receiving, 2 TDs) - Rice's first monster game! He'll definitely keep it up for the rest of the season! Be glad if you drafted him and held onto him thing long!
15. Brandon Jacobs (103 rushing yards, 2 TDs) & Ahmad Bradshaw (97 yards rushing, 2 TDs, 1 reception, 8 yards) - What makes this impressive is that both backs went for over 100 combined yards and 2 tds each.
16. Giants Defense - 3 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, that's how they win games, win the turnover battles, and hope McNabb makes a ton of mistakes... as well as the rest of the Redskins team...
17. Marshawn Lynch - (83 yards rushing, 1 reception, 17 receiving yards, 3 TDs) Probably his first game in a long time with 100 combined yards and his first 3 TD Game! Don't expect him to repeat, the Panthers gave up 3 TDs to Peyton Hillis as well
