Thursday's Corners

So I've come up with a new and improved formula that should predict the end result of all fantasy players by the end of the season. I've thrown in various factors, injury time, past seasons, what was projected for this season and stirred the pot. Right now Prince Fielder is expected to finish on top, but any of the four guys up there can finish on top. Albert Pujols would have to go on a monster tear to catch up. As you can see, Berkman has been dropped down from what he's currently trending to what he is expected to trend. I'm sure all you Berkman owners notice he's in a bit of a slump and my find himself down in the third tier if he doesn't heat up.

Looking below at Third Basemen, there is Jose Bautista, and then there's everyone else. Kevin Youkilis, Michael Young, David Wright, and Adrian Beltre are actually so close, they could interchange with each other on a daily basis. Evan Longoria needs to start hitting like Longoria, he's on pace to end up about 20% worse than his career averages. Ryan Zimmerman is only ranked as high as he is because he was actually hitting quite well before he got injured, and if he hits at about his career averages when he gets back, that's where it looks like he'll end up. Zimmerman's sample size from this season is so small however, that if he comes back on a tear, he'll quickly climb the charts.
